12 Ways to Simplify Life

1.) Keep God First
Proverbs 3:6
In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.

2.) Live to Glorify God
Psalms 86:12
I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.

3.) Be Yourself

Galatians 6:4
Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,

4.) Prioritize personal responsibilities
1 Corinthians 14:40
But be sure that everything is done properly and in order.

6.) Don't try to control everything
Daniel 2:21 He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars.

5.) Don't Worry about Tomorrow
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

6.) Learn to say No or to decline

James 5:12
But most of all, my brothers and sisters, never take an oath, by heaven or earth or anything else. Just say a simple yes or no, so that you will not sin and be condemned.

7.) Stay out of Debt
Romans 3:8
Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.

8.) Choose your battles
2 Chronicles 20:17
But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!”

9.) Mind your own business
1 Thessalonians 4:11
Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.

10.) Be Quick to Forgive others
Colossians 3:13
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

11.) Be Satisfied with what you have
Philippians 4:11
Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have.

12.) Be Thankful
Psalms 100:4
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
