Ministry Biography
Christian Minister, Gospel Recording Artist, Songwriter, Author, Educator, Motivational Speaker, and Philanthropist. She is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born into a Christian family of many singers and ministers including, Gospel Legend Pastor Shirley Caesar.
Alicia Bailey attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She later attended Winston-Salem State University for graduate school where she received her Masters Degree in Education. Soon after, Bailey attended Gardner Webb University where she earned her Principalship and Administrative Licensure for Education. She has also studied Theology at Vintage Bible College.
Bailey began vocal training at the age five and has spent a large amount of her time servicing as a worship leader in her local church. In 2006 Alicia Bailey was ordained as a minister and preached her initial sermon under the leadership of the Kimberly Park Holiness Church where she first became the Youth Minister and later became an Associate Minister of the Ministry and Women’s Ministry Coordinator. She currently serves under the leadership and spiritual guidance of Love and Faith Christian Fellowship Church, in Greensboro, North Carolina where she serves as a minister, deaconess, and worship leader.
Alicia Bailey is a published author of the inspirational women's guidebook "God's Fresh Air", and the children's book entitled "RUNRU Kangaroo". She is the CEO/ Founder of Alicia Bailey Ministries, a ministry that “Empowers People for Purpose” and she is also the CEO/Founder of the Legacy Foundation for Women, a philanthropic organization that "Celebrates Women and Girls of Color".
She is the proud wife of Marquis Bailey and together they have one son.
Singing and Ministering God's word is her passion. Alicia M. Bailey has a heart for people and her music and ministry reflects her passion. Through her ministry she empowers people with hope and faith in God. Alicia Bailey is determined to spread the Christian principles of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry and in music.
